Peace Research Projects started as a way to kickstart the Effective Peacebuilding Initiative. The Effective Peacebuilding Initiative is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping peacebuilders collect, disseminate and utilize the best available evidence to prevent and mitigate the effects of armed conflict.  We partner with leading experts and funders to help peacebuilders get the knowledge and resources they need to more effectively target their efforts and more accurately evaluate their impact.  We believe that providing clear and compelling evidence that peacebuilding can work is the best way to attract the attention, funding and resolve peacebuilders need to succeed.

Educational Content Creation Project

Our Educational Content Creation Project aims to empower writers and storytellers from the Himalayan region to create engaging content that resonates with the Himalayan community. We focus on developing relatable materials, such as picture books, stories, reflections, and poetry, specifically designed for children and young readers. By collaborating with local artists, we bring these stories to life with visuals that reflect the culture and landscapes of the Himalayas. Our goal is to foster a creative ecosystem where Himalayan people can enjoy content that is truly their own.

This fellowship offers a transformative experience in the Himalayas, where participants will immerse themselves in local culture while rediscovering their passion for learning and education. The program is tailored to each fellow’s strengths and experiences, with roles varying from classroom support to administrative tasks. Flexibility and adaptability are key, as fellows will work closely with the Fellowship Liaison upon arrival in Gangtok, Sikkim, to finalize their responsibilities.
